Wo-Li Boo is a wee little panda bear cub taking his first steps into the big wide world. He is a little unsure and sometimes not too steady on his paws , but it's funny to go rolly polly anyway. He is finding out that it is really rather fun being a panda and he loves to play hide and seek behind the bamboo! He is a cheeky little guy with a heart of gold that loves to be hugged as much as he loves to play. Wo-Li Boo is a sweet little soul that will bring a lifetime of delight to your home and heart. He was named with the help of the group of people on Pandas Unlimited (with Wo-Li being to honour all those at the Wolong panda reserve in China and Boo after the panda Tai 'Boo' in the National Zoo).

He is a 11.5"(29cm)Bumpkin Panda Bear designed and brought to life especially to take part in the Silent Auction at Tai's 3rd Annual Enrichment Fund Bearday Party on July 9th 2008. This will take place at The Smithsonian National Zoo, Washington, USA. 

National Zoo scientists’ contribute hugely to saving giant pandas. Their scientists have been working diligently in China since 1996. With the help of funds they assist Chinese colleagues in improving the health and reproductive success of giant pandas in Chinese breeding centers and, of critical importance, working in the field to help save the species in the wild. By providing the pandas in the zoo with enriched environments it helps them to demonstrate their natural behavior, adds variety to their day, allows them exercise, gives them choices in their environment, and enhances their well-being. Enrichment also gives Zoo scientists the chance to study and observe the animals' behavior. What the scientists learn can benefit both Zoo animals and wild animals.

Wo-Li Boo is brought to life with silky soft top quality faux furs in panda white and black. The white is a longer pile than the black giving a cute fluffy baby appearance. He has an adorable little leather nose and hand stiched mouth. His soulful baby eyes look deeply into your heart just begging for a hug. His paw pads are made of velvet soft paw grey cashmere.
He has kind baby black eyes with my Bumpkin Bears soulful look.

  He is 5 way cotter pin jointed so he can move into all the sweetest poses. He is filled with polyfibre (not overly firmly, so he is wonderful for cuddles) and a little woodwool in his nose and a good helping of plastic pellets in his belly for a bamboo and milk filled tum tum!
