Henry dreams of castles surrounded by deep moats where dragons sleep and knights defend! Despite his vivid imagination Henry loves nothing better than a quiet cuddle on a sleepy afternoon!

Henry is a one of a kind 15"(38cm)Bumpkin Bear. He is brought to life with faboulous heritage style English mohairs which I have created into a rather regal ginger coloured outfit set off with a genuine antique lace collar. I have had this lace for many many years and Henry seemed like the perfect bear to wear it.
I called him Henry after King Henry VIII of England due to his love of castles. Henry was King from 1491 to 1547 and according to many paintings he was on the large side so Henry bear has a lovely big beary tummy too!
Henry Bear is himself a gorgeous creamy coloured mohair which I also hand dyed a little to match nicely with his outfit. He has kind topaz eyes with my Bumpkin Bears soulful look. I also gave him a very sweet hand sewn suede nose and his paws are made of wool felt with hand shading.

  He is 5 way cotter pin jointed and is filled with polyfibre and a little woodwool in his nose and a good helping of plastic pellets in his belly for a honey filled tummy feeling!
