Winston was born on a rather wet, Winters day. Just the kind of day when a warm Bear Hug is the perfect way to pass the time. As the rain battered against the windows Winston cuddled contentedly and fell fast asleep with dreams of all the cuddles and adventures he would have with his new family.

The name Winston came immediately to my mind when he sat looking up at me. Searching for the meaning of his name I saw that it meant "joyful stone". He is certainly a bear that will bring many joyful moments to your life, but as for stone.. well he loves to jump from stone to stone across the forest rivers! But his incredibly cuddly, long pile dense mohair is quite the opposite of a stone! His colouring is most unusual, a gorgeous maple tone matched by his velvet soft cashmere paw pads. A tricky colour to photograph, but he is between the two tones you can see here, Winston says! Winston is a Bear just perfect for warm Hugs being 18". Winston is a one of a kind 18" Bumpkin Bear. His face has been extensively scissor sculpted to bring out his sweet features. His beautiful eyes with wool felt accents twinkle with love. The fur around his eyes also has hand shading to help bring out his character further.
He is 5 way cotter pin jointed and filled with polyfibre and a good helping of rubber pellets in his belly for a honey filled feeling!
