Winky-Wonky was a lonely panda, the other pandas didn't want to be his friend because he looked different to them.
They even said he was not a REAL panda! This made him feel sad. He so wanted to prove his pandaness that he ate and ate bamboo all day and all night!
His poor tummy did so ache! His Mum gave him a comforting hug and told him that he should be happy he was born with his wonky markings.
It seemd that he was becoming quite a celebrity with scientists and panda lovers around the world saying that he was such a special PANDA, yes a REAL PANDA!
Winky-Wonky felt comforted by this and fell fast asleep against his Mum, dreaming of his new celebrity status!
Winky Wonkey is a one of a kind 16" (41cm)Bumpkin Bears Panda. Due to all his bamboo eating he is designed as a sitting panda.
He was brought to life with a wonderful mix of wavey Schulte mohairs in a buttery cream and black. He has a cute cotton ruff around his neck
in black and white. His paw pads are a beige cream wool felt with hand shading.
He is 5 way cotter pin jointed (not overly firmly) and is filled with polyfibre and a little woodwool in his head and kapok in his body with
plastic pellets in his belly for a full tum feel!
- - Made of the highest quality Schulte mohair in a mix of black and cream with black furry panda eye patches.
- - Trimmed muzzle and needle sculpted face with hand shading to bring out his character further
- - Soulful ivory felt accents behind his dark topaz eyes.
- - Cute hand embroidered nose and mouth in black.
